Application Scenarios

  • Luxury cruise ship main galley (Mediterranean): A 3,000-passenger cruise ship with 12 galleys across 8 decks standardized on marine-modified Heavy-duty Series ESP units. The ship operates 24/7 during 7-day Mediterranean cruises with zero port days for maintenance. Auto-cleaning ESP was essential — the 4-hour turnaround between cruises is insufficient for manual cell cleaning of 20+ modules. The marine 316L stainless construction showed zero corrosion after 3 years of continuous salt-air exposure.
  • Ro-Pax ferry galley (Baltic Sea): A large car-and-passenger ferry operating between Stockholm and Helsinki serves 2,000 passengers with a buffet restaurant, à la carte dining, and crew mess. The constant motion of Baltic winter crossings required special drain trap designs to prevent wastewater backflow during 15°+ rolls.
